The Perkins-Business Partnership

Rachel Kerrigan
Marketing Manager

It’s a partnership that will change lives. The Perkins-Business Partnership (PBP) is an alliance between Perkins and some of the region’s best-known businesses and nonprofits that is working to break down barriers to employment and expand opportunities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Established in 2014, the PBP is focused on combating the high unemployment rate among people who are blind or visually impaired, so that they can become engaged, productive members of society. Through conversations with employers across the Commonwealth, the PBP is striving to raise awareness and motivate businesses to create work environments that are inclusive and accessible to all.
