About Continuing Education Credits - Each year more and more teachers take professional development courses online to help satisfy professional development requirements. Teachers who complete Perkins Tutorials are eligible for Continuing Education Credits in most states and school districts. However, some states and districts have their own requirements, so be sure to inquire with your district or state professional development office to determine eligibility.
About ACVREP Credits - The Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Educational Professionals (ACVREP) provides professional certification in the disciplines of low vision therapy, orientation and mobility, and vision rehabilitation therapy. ACVREP certified professionals are required to renew their certification every five years.
About State Recertification Credits - Similarly, many states require certified teachers to periodically renew their certification. Check with your State Board of Education to see if our credits fulfill your recertification requirements.
