Curricular Resources

At Perkins, we believe in sharing resources and expertise with other educators in the field. Our curricular resources concentrate on specific subject areas and offer guidance for educating students who are visually impaired, with or without other disabilities.

Perkins Online Curricular Resources

Accessible Science: This website will help you make science lessons accessible to every student – including those with visual impairments who may have additional disabilities. Check out our downloadable science activities that have been adapted for students who are visually impaired; a webcast on teaching accessible life sciences; online teaching resources; product tips; and more.

Perkins Training & Educational Resources Program has plans to expand online curricular resources in the near future, with more websites for educators on varying subject areas.

We would love to hear from you. Is there a particular subject area you’re interested in and want to see more online curricular resources geared towards that topic? Email your suggestions to Betsy McGinnity, Director of Perkins Training & Educational Resources Program.
