www.tsbvi.edu - A rich source of information for teachers of the visually impaired. Subscribe to an electronic version of See/Hear Newsletter, download a dictionary of eye conditions, browse the list of vision-related links.

Division on Visual Impairments, Council for Exceptional Children
http://www.cecdvi.org/ - The section with position papers on professional practice, curriculum, and adaptations for students with visual impairments may be of interest.

Disability Resources on the Internet, Disability Resources Monthly

Eye Disease Simulations, National Eye Institute
www.nei.nih.gov/photo/sims/index.asp - Downloadable images that simulate various eye conditions.

Low Vision Disability Simulation
www.webaim.org/simulations/lowvision - An online exercise that simulates how Websites look to people with glaucoma, cataract, and macular degeneration.

e-ADVISOR
http://www.e-advisor.us/ - e-ADVISOR is a collaborative project of eleven agencies that serve children with visual impairments. The information is presented in non-technical language, and is designed to facilitate communication between parents, teachers and doctors of visually impaired children. Includes information sheets on eye disorders; virtual tours and tutorials; parent narratives and resources; and discussion boards.
