Perkins Secondary Chorus Performs at Boston Breakers Game

The Secondary Chorus performs the National Anthem on the Harvard Stadium field

At 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, students in Perkins Secondary Chorus arrived for sound check at Harvard Stadium. The chorus was invited by the Boston Breakers and enjoyed a picnic dinner before singing the National Anthem to kick off the night's much anticipated game. In addition to over 4,000 avid Women's Professional Soccer fans, the bleachers were peppered with Perkins staff, students, and parents who went along to cheer on the chorus and the home team. The chorus received a rousing ovation and audience members shouted their thanks as the students walked off the field. It was an exciting night for all as the Breakers squelched the Chicago Red Stars recent winning streak, defeating their rivals 1-0.
