Download materials are specifically designed for children who need extra support with language and early literacy skills. All materials are designed for universal access with diverse ability levels. Designed for teachers, parents and therapists who work with children at an early literacy level and who need extra visual support. These materials have been successfully used with typically developing children, children who have severe and multiple disabilities, Head Start children, children with severe speech and language delays, children with cerebral palsy, children with autism, children with downs syndrome and children with a variety of developmental delays.

Getting In Touch with Literacy
A National Conference Focusing on the Literacy Needs of Individuals With Visual Impairments
View the Learning Media Assessments presentation by Tom Miller in which he detailed the many aspects of the Learning Media Assessment given by Teachers of the Visually Impaired. Tom delved into the LMA itself and gave detailed descriptions of the individual forms in the Assessment itself.
Part of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, the Perkins Library serves anyone who has difficulty reading traditional print materials.
