Bequests

A charitable bequest lives on – leaving a legacy that will make a difference for generations to come. Making your bequest intentions known to Perkins allows you to enjoy the rewards of giving long before the actual gift is received and entitle you to membership in The Thomas H. Perkins Legacy Society.

A bequest to Perkins can be made by creating a new will, adding a codicil to your current will, designating Perkins as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, or including Perkins in your revocable trust or other estate plan.

The following language may be used for an outright gift by will:

Specific dollar amount for unrestricted use:
I give (________) dollars to the Perkins School for the Blind, a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Percentage amount for unrestricted use:
I give (________) percent of the residue of my estate to the Perkins School for the Blind, a corporation duly organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
