This presentation will explore ways in which educators can develop and integrate lite- and lo-tech Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) systems for students who are blind/visually impaired with additional disabilities, including deafblindness.

Educators will consider both receptive and expressive AAC forms in the context of engaging, early literacy and communication activities across the school day.

This is a Blended Workshop that has an Online Component.

  • 0.95 ASHA or AOTA CEUs
