Large Print Books

There are over 5,500 titles in the large print collection.

The Perkins Braille & Talking Book Library is pleased to offer a new service - large print books.

In collaboration with the Worcester Talking Book Library, we are able to provide this valuable service to our patrons who can read large print.

The large print collection includes both fiction and non-fiction, biographies, romance, westerns, bestsellers, mysteries, and children's books. These are just a sampling of the types of books available in large print.

Interested patrons may borrow two large print books at a time and the loan period is four weeks. Once these books have been returned to the Library, more will be sent.

Large print magazines, though not part of the NLS reading program, are available. The sources given should be contacted directly for the latest subscription information, because availability and prices tend to change frequently.
