The Real Helen Keller

This documentary expands the public image of Helen Keller.  Although she was immortalized as a deafblind dream child in The Miracle Worker, this was a role that she did not choose and fought against all her life. Produced and directed by Liz Crow and Ann Pugh, The Real Helen Keller (2000) runs 50 minutes and is in spoken English and British sign language.  The site includes a link to the script in pdf and an article.
