The Perkins Braille & Talking Book Library is pleased to announce the release of our Jumbo Braille collection. This collection will enable people from across the country who are blind with an impaired sense of touch, such as those with diabetes, to read braille books. Both contracted and uncontracted books are available in more than 20 adult title selections.
We owe many thanks to Norma Schecter, founder of Beach Cities Braille Guild in California, for spearheading and believing in the value of Jumbo Braille. Her commitment has allowed us to recently add several additional titles to this growing collection.
This listing contains titles, brief descriptions, and book order numbers for materials in the Perkins Jumbo Braille Lending Library program. To request titles on the list, in either contracted or uncontracted braille, please call Judi Cannon at 617-972-7646 or 800-852-3133, or send an e-mail request, including your name, address, phone number and the items you wish to receive, to Judi.Cannon@Perkins.org.
