As Director of Support Services, Brenda Nicolas oversees multiple campus-wide operations. Brenda's primary responsibilities include budget management and operational supervision of Complex Food Services; Stores; Communications; 24/7 Campus Security and Parking; and Coordination of on-campus and off-campus Perkins Housing (Excluding Cottage Placement). Brenda has been at the school in various roles since November of 1988.
Brenda oversees construction project management for all major capital building projects on the Perkins campus. She has co-responsibility for Facilities Management oversight (in liaison with R. Falzone of Outside Contracting). This includes New Construction, Renovation, Sustainability, and Green Initiatives.
Brenda also coordinates on-campus special events including: the Perkins Possibilities Gala, Alumni Weekend, Track and Field, Holiday Concerts, the Lower School Construction Groundbreaking, a Disability Issues Forum involving visiting Politicians and Political Gubernatorial Candidates, Prom and Graduation Exercises, Academic Gatherings, Conferences, etc.
Brenda has professional training and re-certification for SERVE-SAFE, CPR and FIRST AID, CPPI.
